Job description

Exciting new opportunity to join a thriving medical practice that specializes in management of obesity.

We are looking for a candidate with great interpersonal skills, highly professional, and passionate about their work.

Job requires clinical and administrative duties.

The candidate will be involved in all aspects of clinical care, and also be involved in support groups.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a field of medicine that truly transforms people's lives, inside and out.

Responsibilities and Duties

Assist doctor and physician assistant in treating patients

Prepares the examination room, escorts patient into the room, cleans examination room after visit is complete.

Maintains efficient patient flow.

Ensure proper preparation for patient visit day before visit.

Communicates and provides care consistent with age, cultural, spiritual and developmental needs of the patient.

Answer the telephone in appropriate manner.

Schedules appointments accurately and appropriately.

Consistently stocks examination rooms with all necessary supplies.

Assist in ordering of supplies.

Reconciled encounters daily and accurately according to policy guidelines.

Obtain vital signs. Documents appropriately in EHR. Reviews and updates medication lists, allergies. etc.

Demonstrates flexibility with various work schedules.

Working one Saturday (half-day) per month is required

Qualifications and Skills

New graduates are welcome.

Comfortable with Computers

Personable and professional

Salary and benefits (health benefits, paid time off, and 401k) commensurate with experience.

Salary: $18.13 - $18.98 per hour
